Day 87 & 88 of our 2025 RVing Adventure with Historical & Musical Interludes

It's Sunday July 27th, Day 87 of our 2025 summer adventure. We have been home for just over 18 hours and I am ready to walk my familiar route at home!

Today is filled with more time emptying and cleaning the Aspect, so it is ready for the transfer on Tuesday. Sheryl suggested that we take a run to Lazydays to put our eyes on our new rig. Why not?!

Gary & Sheryl and Charlie & I talked about taking a few day trip, close to home, to see how everything works. So, as we drove down to Lazydays, we stopped at Hillsborough River State Park to check out some sites to camp in. We were looking for some shade, as it has been sooooooo hot! We did select several sites groupings that offered us some shade.

Our salesman, Demond, does not work on Sunday. So, at the dealership we were assigned another salesman to show us our coach. He was amazed that we purchased a coach sight unseen! We looked at the rig and we are very happy with it! Richardo, that is who showed us the rig, suggested we stop in the financing department and make sure everything is set for Tuesday. We met Vaughn and he had time and wanted to know if we wanted to do our paperwork then. We decided to do the paperwork. Gary and Sheryl chilled in the lobby. Sheryl eating the free popcorn and Gary talking with everyone.

Doing the paperwork today, was a huge win! We got ceramic coating on the coach, which will get done on Monday. Now, on Tuesday, our time at the dealership will be reduced! We decided to go to a late lunch or early dinner
at Florida Ave Brewing. I like to take people there, because it is more than just beer. Sheryl got wine, Charlie got beer, Gary enjoyed a non-alcoholic Ginger beer and I had iced tea! The food was delicious, as always! We were not rushed and enjoyed our time together! God gave us a beautiful sunset!

The evening was a wind down time. Tomorrow, Monday, is a busy day!
It's Monday July 28th, day 88 of our 2025 summer adventure. I met up with Debbie on my second trip around the park. It was great to catch up with her and walk.

Charlie had a morning haircut appointment. I dropped him off at that, while I went downtown to Lee Reed Insurance to get an Insurance card for the new VIN number that we are purchasing. I was able to talk to Leah, who I have been dealing with on the phone. We got everything squared away and I have all we need to close the deal tomorrow!

At noon, we took the rig to Safelite Glass in Lakeland to have a new windshield put in it. Yes, we have a big crack in it. Most people would say "You are trading it, why?" I would say because it is the right thing to do! And in Florida, glass coverage is included in our policies! Garrett was our windshield technician and he did a great job!

We enjoyed a relaxing evening at home with friends! Resting up for the BIG day tomorrow! Stay tuned for more #TwoLaneAdventures
