2019 Rally Route - Wednesday & Thursday September 11th & 12th, 2019 – Day 3 & 4

We arrived on the first Early Bird Day of two Early Bird Days at the Georgia Fall Good Sam Rally. It gives us a chance to relax and acclimate to the rally life again … since it has been several months, since we have been to a rally.

We played some Five Crown this afternoon in McGill Hall.

We all purchased Chinese Auctions tickets and we are hoping to win big!

This evening is the first of several chances to play Samgo, the Good Sam version of Bingo.

Jack was the only one of us who was lucky … not only once, but twice!

The Wednesday night sunset offered a beautiful pink glow .... awesome end to an excellent day!

Thursday morning was a beautiful sunrise! We spent the morning enjoying the vendors and enjoyed the fellowship with friends, we have not seen in several months.

We also toured the RV's that Campers Inn had on site. There were some beauties!

Camping World sponsored our pizza lunch from Marco’s Pizza. Oh, it makes me miss the Marco’s Pizza near our house!

The theme for this Rally is Game Show Mania and after lunch, they hosted their first game show. It was Deal or No Deal. We had to leave to meet our north coast of Florida friends, Scott and Rena. Jack had been saving their spot near us, with his car and they called, just as we were finishing our lunch and said they were close!

After getting them settled, it was time to go back to McGill Hall for another round of Samgo. No one from our group was lucky, but we had a great deal of fun!

We rode the tram to get to McGill hall, later in the day ... so we would not have to ride bikes or the scooters back after dark!

Before, the Opening Ceremonies began, we had some fun at the picture station.

The Thursday evening is Opening Ceremonies for the rally. Opening Ceremonies involves introduction of Georgia Good Sam Chapters, the Georgia State Staff and out of state Directors in attendance.

The Evening Entertainment was provided by The McMillians. We have seen them perform before, but none of us could remember where! They are the Music Ministers at Spring Creek Baptist Church, in Spring Creek, Tennessee. They still find time to do studio work full time and travel at least one weekend per month. This time, it was just the father and mother. But last time we saw them, they sang with one of their daughters.

Many local restaurants give them door prizes, so they pull a bunch of them on the first night. Here is hoping, we will be lucky …. Nope, no luck!
